This week for Wireless Wednesday we wanted to take a deeper look into “cutting the cable cord.” With the recent announcement of Sling TV, HBO streaming and PlayStation Vue, plus our older alternatives like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime, many are deciding that cable is no longer worth the money.
If you’re still on the fence about cutting cable out of your monthly bills, here is a helpful calculator from slate.com. Use the calculator to see if dropping cable TV and paying for your choice of streaming services will really save you money, and let us know in the comments section below!
Of course a simple calculator can’t tell what option is best for you as only monetary factors are considered. It’s important to note that cable TV and online streaming services are different products. Even if you were to subscribe to all the streaming services, you still wouldn’t get all of the channels and content that would be available to you via cable.
For buildings greater than 7500 sq ft, we recommend our WilsonPro brand of products.
