Tuesday's Technical Question

September 24, 2013 — by WEBOOST

At the beginning of the month, we posted this month’s special Tech Tip blog post. However, in honor of “Tech Tip Tuesday” being today, we also wanted to take a closer look at a service you may not know about, that we here at Wilson make available to you all.

Do you have a question, comment, or concern you want to see featured on our blog? Just let us know by leaving us a comment below, or you can find us on Facebook/Twitter.

Check out this question a Wilson customer had–

“Is there a planning document or white paper that Wilson can provide in order to help with recommending a layout of internal antennas (beyond the basic documentation that comes with them)? We are trying to get a better idea of what set up would be best for us, and we would love a professional’s help.”

See what our Tech Department had to say here–

“There isn’t documentation as far as antenna use/placement, but we do have a building design team that would be more than happy to arrange a layout, antenna placement (with provided floor plans), and parts list to benefit your situation. If that is something you are interested in, just click here to download the form. Then, just fill it out and email it back!”

If you have a technical question of your own, you can call our support line at 866-294-1660, and any of our capable technicians will be happy to assist you.

Is my Qi wireless charging enabled phone compatible with the Wilson Sleek?

      Hey Bill,
No, unfortunately, we do not have a Qi-enabled booster. But thanks for the question!

Hi, if I use a qi pad wireless charger with a nexus 5, will the signal boost antenna still work properly? this is a vehicle installed system with a close proximity antenna. should the flat panel antenna be placed in front of the charging pad?
