At the beginning of the month, we posted this month’s special Tech Tip blog post. However, in honor of “Tech Tip Tuesday” being today, we also wanted to take a look at a common concern we see here at the Wilson Electronics Technical Support department. Do you have a question you want to see featured on our blog? Just let us know by leaving us a comment below, or you can find us on Facebook/Twitter.
Check out this concern a Wilson customer had, and see how it can be resolved!–
“We have installed a Wireless 65db Amplifier and it has worked great for awhile now. All of a sudden however, all we have is a blinking red light. When we plug it in we have a green light for a moment, then it goes right to a blinking red light. Are there any adjustment tips or anything that we need to do in order to fix this situation?”
And the response–
“This is a great question! If you are experiencing a blinking red light, that means you need to do one of two things. One, move your inside antenna further away from your outside antenna. And/or two, redirect the antennas away from each other.
The red lights you were experiencing indicate that your antennas are oscillating or looping, and need attention. Separating them further and turning them away will change those lights to green and get your booster working perfectly once again.”
If you have a technical question of your own, you can call our support line at 866-294-1660, and any of our capable technicians will be happy to assist you.
